Optional Foreign Language Courses
The NYU School of Continuing and Professional Studies offers a range of affordable non-credit courses in 25 different languages. (View the bulletin online at www.scps.nyu.edu/lang.) These courses include beginner through advanced language study, career-focused classes in translation and interpreting, and customized, flexible private instruction . Students receive a grade for the course, or may elect the option of a non-evaluative grade of NE.
MSGA students may take SCPS non-credit foreign language courses at a 50% discount. This discount replaces the audit, which is no longer an option, as all SCPS foreign language courses must now be taken for a grade or a non-evaluative grade of NE.
